By Kyle Clark, Senior Skills Transformation Consultant

The end of the year brings with it some of our most exciting launches of 2019. Our latest batch of 50+ courses includes enterprise critical skills such as personal resilience, computational thinking, and coding for managers.

Additional topics this past month range from Python for asset management to neuromarketing, agribusiness management, sustainable fashion, FPGA design, Autodesk certification prep, and programming in Swift for iOS apps.

Here are our top picks for enterprise November:

November 2019’s Key Launches

  • Build personal resilience, Macquarie University – Understanding stress and how to boost your resilience to it are essential skills for contemporary leaders and play a vital role in managing the demands you face at work. This course will focus on the nature of stressors facing leaders in today’s work environments and how to deal with them.
  • Problem Solving Using Computational Thinking, University of Michigan – Computational Thinking allows us to take complex problems, understand what the problem is, and develop solutions. The course includes an introduction to computational thinking and a broad definition of each concept, a series of real-world cases that illustrate how computational thinking can be used to solve complex problems, and a student project that asks you to apply what they are learning about Computational Thinking in a real-world situation.
  • Getting Started with Google Sheets, Google Cloud – In this course for Sheets users, you’ll learn how to make your own supercharged spreadsheets. First, you’ll learn how to input and format your data. Next, you’ll learn how formulas, functions and a few exclusive Google Sheets features can accelerate your data analysis. Finally, you’ll get tips for sharing your spreadsheets and collaborating on them with your team.
  • Developing AI Applications on Azure, LearnQuest – This course introduces the concepts of Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning and the machine learning tools available in Microsoft Azure. We’ll review standardized approaches to data analytics and you’ll receive specific guidance on Microsoft’s Team Data Science Approach. As you go through the course, we’ll introduce you to Microsoft’s pre-trained and managed machine learning offered as REST API’s in their suite of cognitive services. By the end of this course, you will be able to create, implement and deploy machine learning models.
  • Coding for Designers, Managers, & Entrepreneurs I, University of Virginia – Do you want to experience what it is to go from idea to code? If so, this is the place for you! This is the first course in the Coding for Designers, Managers, and Entrepreneurs Specialization, which is specifically designed for you, if you’re a hands-on collaborator with developers. You’ll build creative confidence and competence that will make you an even better collaborator on digital projects.
